Our Global Private Bank in mainland China is strongly positioned to serve a wide spectrum of wealth needs and is central to our aim to become Asia’s leading wealth manager. We expanded to Shenzhen, Chengdu and Hangzhou in 2022, adding to our existing footprint in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. We plan to further grow the size of our Global Private Banking team in the next few years, creating exciting new career opportunities for highly experienced relationship managers and investment specialists.

To better serve the evolving needs of our fast-growing mass affluent clients at different life stages, we have also enhanced our services and offerings by introducing HSBC Premier Elite.

We continue to recruit in the mainland and grow our Wealth business, and we have continuously increased investment since then. In 2022, we recruited more than 400 employees to support the rapid development of our wealth management and private banking businesses.

Relationship Management

You can work in Relationship Management in various parts of the Wealth and Personal Banking business in mainland China. That may be in Premier, Premier Elite or Global Private Banking.

Our Relationship Managers have a direct impact by delivering exceptional wealth management solutions to our internationally-minded customers. Our unparalleled global network and collaboration across business areas, supported by significant investment in technology, will enable you to help your customers enrich their portfolios with a diverse range of product and service offerings via a seamless, safe and positive experience. Specialist

Our Specialist roles can be found in our Personal Banking, or Global Private Banking teams and are suited to individuals with in-depth knowledge and wide technical expertise in investment and insurance products.

Using information from our expert teams and the extensive research made available to you, you’ll provide advice to clients on financial products and investments based on their risk appetite, expectations and short to long-term plans, as well as other suitability checking criteria.
